Storm & Hail Damage · Architectural asphalt shingle
Hail-damaged slope, documented
The kind of storm documentation we produce: a chalked test square with every impact circled and counted, photographed with the date, for one slope of many.

What to look at
A ten-foot by ten-foot square chalked on the slope with each impact circled. This is what an adjuster does and it is why we do it first — it turns "there are some marks up there" into a number two people can stand next to each other and agree on. Granule loss in a circle with the mat exposed at the center is the thing being counted.
